Ambassador Pham Quang Hieu Welcomes Vice President of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations to the Embassy

On August 19, 2025, at the headquarters of the Embassy of Vietnam in Japan, Ambassador Pham Quang Hieu received and held a working session with Mr. Dong Huy Cuong, Vice President of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations, during his visit to Japan from August 19 to 22, 2025.

During the meeting, Ambassador Pham Quang Hieu shared information about the Vietnamese community in Japan and the current state of cooperation with Vietnam–Japan Friendship Associations at both central and local levels. The two sides discussed priorities, aid needs, and Vietnam’s policies regarding foreign non-governmental aid. They also proposed measures to promote Japanese aid mobilization and to enhance people-to-people exchanges and cooperation between the two countries.
