The Vietnamese Embassy delegation visited Aomori Prefecture to visit and encourage traffic accident victims

On October 31, 2025, the Labor Department of the Vietnamese Embassy went to Aomori to work with relevant parties in the traffic accident in Towada, Aomori.

At the Towada Police Station, the Labor Department confirmed the body of Pham Tuan Anh, said goodbye to take his friend back to Hyogo for the funeral, then was taken by the police to check the condition of the two vehicles involved in the accident and briefly described the situation at the scene.

Afterwards, the Labor Department met with the injured workers, Towada Police, the company director and truck driver, the insurance company, and went to Chuo Aomori Hospital to visit Le Cong Tang...

The Labor Department sent condolences and gifts from the Ambassador to the affected victims, requested relevant parties to support the deceased and injured workers, compensate the victims in accordance with the regulations on traffic accidents and work accidents, thanked and requested the doctors to do their best to treat Le Cong Tang.

The workers were moved to thank the Ambassador for giving gifts and greetings. The company whose vehicle caused the accident sincerely apologized and promised to work with the insurance company to promptly resolve the compensation and responsibilities of the parties after the police's conclusion. The police also affirmed maximum support for the Vietnamese workers, informing that they had worked with the local Labor Department to conduct an impartial investigation to soon have results as a basis to resolve insurance benefits for the victims.

On the side of the receiving company and the union, the Labor Department requested cooperation with the authorities, support and resolve the regime for workers to enjoy insurance, seriously learn from experience in labor safety and protection, guide workers to drive safely...
