Minister Nguyen Van Thang visits the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan

During his working visit to Japan, Minister of Finance Nguyen Van Thang had a meeting with Ambassador Pham Quang Hieu and staff of the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan.

At the meeting, Ambassador Pham Quang Hieu reported to the Minister on the Vietnam-Japan relationship, especially economic, financial, investment, and trade cooperation; he also provided information on economic diplomacy, support for Vietnamese businesses and localities to promote cooperation with Japanese partners, as well as the situation of the Vietnamese community in Japan.

Minister Nguyen Van Thang updated on the socio-economic situation in Vietnam, the Government's major policy directions, focusing on macroeconomic stability, inflation control, promoting growth, improving the investment and business environment, and accelerating digital transformation and innovation.

The Minister acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts and achievements of the Embassy staff in effectively implementing the Party and State's foreign policy, contributing to deepening the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and Japan. The Minister requested the Embassy to continue playing its role as a bridge, proactively advising and coordinating closely with ministries, localities, and businesses to promote cooperation in investment, finance, and other priority areas.

On this occasion, Minister Nguyen Van Thang extended his greetings, encouragement, and best wishes to all Embassy staff, hoping they will successfully fulfill their assigned tasks and make positive contributions to the development of the country and the friendly relations between Vietnam and Japan.
