Ambassador Pham Quang Hieu visits and encourages the Vietnamese sports delegation at ASIAD 20

          On September 19, 2026, in Nagoya, Vietnamese Ambassador to Japan Pham Quang Hieu and President of the Vietnam Olympic Committee Nguyen Van Hung met with and offered encouragement to the Vietnamese sports delegation participating in the 20th Asian Games (ASIAD 20) in Aichi–Nagoya. During the meeting, the Ambassador and the President of the Vietnam Olympic Committee commended the athletes' spirit and determination; they wished the entire delegation good health and success, urging them to compete with confidence and unity, achieve high results, and help promote the image of Vietnam and its people to the international community.

          Ambassador Pham Quang Hieu affirmed that the Embassy of Vietnam in Japan would stand by, coordinate with, and support the delegation throughout their participation in the Games./.
