The 33rd Diplomatic Conference (#HNNG33) and the 22nd National Conference on External Affairs (#HNNV22) will take place in Hanoi from August 1 to August 7, 2026.

          This series of events is organized biennially by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam, featuring carefully selected themes.

          As the first Diplomatic Conference and National Conference on External Affairs to be held following the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam , this year’s #HNNG33 is themed "Promoting the pioneering role and fulfilling the vital, regular tasks of Vietnam's external affairs in the new era," while the theme for #HNNV22 is "Elevating local-level external affairs and effectively mobilizing international resources for development." For diplomatic personnel both at home and abroad, #HNNG33 and #HNNV22 offer an opportunity to strengthen solidarity, innovate thinking, and heighten the sense of responsibility and dedication, working together to build a comprehensive, modern, and professional Vietnamese diplomacy that meets the nation's development requirements in the new era.
