Ambassador Pham Quang Hieu Meets with Vietnamese Intellectual and Scientific Associations in Japan

          On March 28, 2026, Ambassador Pham Quang Hieu met with Vietnamese intellectual and scientific associations in Japan to inform them about policies aimed at attracting and utilizing overseas talent, contributing to national development in the new era. Representatives from various organizations such as VANJ, VJOIN, VPJ, VJS, VYSA, the Vietnam-Japan Women Intellectuals Association, VJAI, and VADX attended.

          The Ambassador emphasized that the Party and State always value the overseas Vietnamese intellectual community; the 14th National Congress identified high-quality human resources as a key factor for growth based on science, technology, and innovation. He highly appreciated the role of these associations in connecting and promoting Vietnam-Japan cooperation and contributing to economic and scientific development.

          The associations shared their 2025 results, 2026 plans, and proposals for strengthening coordination between the associations, the Embassy, ​​and businesses. On this occasion, the Embassy launched the V-S.T.I.D intellectual networking platform to connect Vietnamese scientists abroad with those in Vietnam, serving scientific and technological cooperation, innovation, and digital transformation./.
