ALFS Friendship Tour to Vietnam and Laos (24–28 February 2026)

From 24–28 February 2026, 30 members of the Asia-Pacific Ladies Friendship Society (ALFS) joined the Friendship Tour to Vietnam and Laos, visiting Da Nang, Hoi An, Hanoi and Luang Prabang as part of the activities initiated by Vietnam and Laos in their roles as Embassy Representative and Vice Representative of ALFS for the 2025–2026 term  .
Throughout the tour, members experienced the rich cultural heritage and beautiful sceneries of both countries. In Vietnam, participants had the chance to enjoy a variety of traditional cuisine such as phở, bánh mì, bánh dày, mỳ Quảng, caolầu, canhcá Nam Bộ and bún thang Hà Nội.
During the visit to Hanoi, ALFS members visited Xa Dan School for Deaf Children, where they were deeply moved to receive a beautiful painting created by a deaf student as a gesture of gratitude for ALFS’s charity gift in 2024. The delegation also had the pleasure of meeting previous spouses of Vietnam’s Ambassadors to Japan, who had been proactive ALFS members, reaffirming the continuity of friendship and engagement across generations.

Participants shared that the four days were unforgettable, meaningful and filled with warmth and friendship. We are grateful that all members returned safely and that this journey further strengthened mutual understanding and close bonds among our nations.
