Vietnamese and Lao diplomatic missions in Japan promote ties

VOV.VN - On December 1, in Tokyo, Ambassador Pham Quang Hieu and officials of the Vietnamese Embassy visited and congratulated the Lao Embassy in Japan on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the National Day of the Lao People's Democratic Republic (December 2, 1975 - December 2, 2025).

Ambassador Pham Quang Hieu congratulated Ambassador Amhay Kindavong and all officials and staff of the Lao Embassy on this important event. The Ambassador emphasized that the Party, State, Government and people of Vietnam always have special affection and give the highest priority to constantly cultivating and consolidating the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos.

The Ambassador suggested that the two sides continue to closely coordinate and support each other in diplomatic activities in Japan, actively contributing to promoting the relationship between the two countries and building a united and developed ASEAN Community, and expressed his hope that the two Embassies will continue to maintain many exchange activities in the coming time, thereby contributing to preserving and developing the evergreen and everlasting solidarity between Vietnam and Laos.

For his part, Ambassador Amhay Kindavong, representing all the staff of the Lao Embassy, ​​expressed his gratitude for the affection that Vietnam has for Laos, and pledged to continue to cooperate with the Vietnamese Embassy in the coming time.

In carrying out its political mission, the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan has always considered strengthening the connection between ASEAN countries, including Laos, as one of the top priorities and has carried out many activities towards this goal.
