Embassy of Viet Nam in Japan celebrates Vietnamese Women’S Day with gratitude and warm wishes

On the occasion of Vietnamese Women’s Day (20 October), Ambassador Pham Quang Hieu hosted a gathering to extend his warmest wishes to the Embassy’s female staff members and the wives of Embassy personnel. The gathering was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

In his remarks, Ambassador Pham Quang Hieu conveyed his best wishes to the women present and expressed his sincere appreciation for their contributions, dedication and sense of responsibility, both in their professional and personal lives. He highlighted the invaluable support of wives and mothers, whose understanding, encouragement and sacrifices, often made behind the scenes, help Embassy officials and staff fulfil their duties. Such support, he noted, is a vital source of strength, enabling Embassy personnel to devote themselves fully to their work and carry out their responsibilities.

Speaking on behalf of the Embassy’s women, Mrs. Thai Thu Hong, spouse of Ambassador Pham Quang Hieu, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the Ambassador, male Embassy staff members and the husbands of female staff members for their care and thoughtful gestures on this special occasion. She also shared her joy in working alongside the women of the Embassy to strengthen solidarity and close bonds, helping to make the Embassy a warm and supportive community where everyone looks out for one another, both at work and in everyday life.

The gathering was a meaningful occasion to honour Vietnamese women for their compassion, resilience and sense of responsibility, while further strengthening solidarity and close ties within the Embassy of Viet Nam in Japan.
