During these meetings, both sides highly valued the rapid and substantive development of the Vietnam-Japan Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and agreed to promote exchanges and cooperation across Party, parliamentary, and governmental channels. During this period, the delegation also participated in a scientific exchange with the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS) regarding social management amidst an aging population, the development of artificial intelligence, and quantum technology; visited Rikkei Vietnam’s technology operations in Japan; and held working sessions with officials and staff of the Vietnamese Embassy.

Subsequently, on August 27–28, in accordance with the agreement between the two parties, the 12th theoretical exchange between the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Japanese Communist Party took place in Tokyo under the theme "The Vitality of Communism in the Digital Era." The Vietnamese delegation was led by Professor Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang, while the Japanese delegation was led by Mr. Tanaka Yu, Vice Chairman of the Presidium, Acting Head of the Secretariat, and Chairman of the Theoretical Commission of the Japanese Communist Party.
