Ambassador Pham Quang Hieu works with Member of the House of Representatives Nakasone Yasutaka, Head of the Youth Committee of the Liberal Democratic Party of Japan

On August 7, 2025, at the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to Japan Pham Quang Hieu met and exchanged opinions with Mr. Nakasone Yasutaka, Member of the House of Representatives, Head of the Committee, along with members of the Leadership Committee of the Youth Committee of the Liberal Democratic Party of Japan (LDP).

Head of the Committee Nakasone affirmed that he highly values the relationship with Vietnam, inheriting the good traditions of previous generations of leaders. Up to now, the Youth Committee of the LDP has sent delegations many times and will soon continue to send delegations to visit Vietnam to promote the relationship between the two countries in general as well as enhance exchanges between young leaders of the two countries.

Ambassador Pham Quang Hieu highly appreciated the efforts of the Nakasone Youth Committee Head in promoting relations with Vietnam, saying that the young leaders of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Young National Assembly Delegates Group of Vietnam are ready to discuss in depth with the LDP Youth Committee on measures to promote relations between the two countries.

On this occasion, the two sides also discussed international and regional issues of mutual concern.
