Ambassador Pham Quang Hieu Works with the Governor and Chairman of the Yamaguchi Prefectural Assembly 

On February 6, 2025, at the Embassy of Vietnam, Ambassador Pham Quang Hieu held a meeting with the Governor of Yamaguchi Prefecture, Mr. Muraoka Tsugumasa, and the Chairman of the Yamaguchi Prefectural Assembly, Mr. Yanai Shungaku, along with representatives from various provincial departments.

During the meeting, Ambassador Pham Quang Hieu highly appreciated the cooperation and exchanges between Yamaguchi Prefecture and Vietnam, particularly with Binh Duong Province in recent years. He also congratulated Governor Muraoka on the success of his visit to Vietnam in December 2024 and discussed measures to enhance the effectiveness of cooperation between Yamaguchi Prefecture and Vietnam.

Governor Muraoka expressed his gratitude for the coordination and support provided by Ambassador Pham Quang Hieu and the Embassy of Vietnam in Japan in recent exchange activities with Vietnam. He also discussed the past and future directions of cooperation and exchanges between Yamaguchi Prefecture and Vietnam. Furthermore, he expressed his desire to collaborate in exporting the prefecture’s specialties, such as pufferfish, sake, and Wagyu beef, to the Vietnamese market.
