Ambassador Pham Quang Hieu meets with Japanese Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Suzuki Norikazu

On December 19, 2025, at the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to Japan Pham Quang Hieu held a meeting with Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Suzuki Norikazu. Minister Suzuki reiterated his fondness for the country, leaders, and people of Vietnam since his time as Head of the Youth Department of the ruling Liberal Democratic Party. He affirmed the importance placed on cooperative relations with Vietnam and expressed his desire to strengthen coordination between the two countries' Ministries of Agriculture, contributing to the substantive and effective development of cooperation in agriculture, forestry, and fisheries, in line with the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries.

Ambassador Pham Quang Hieu once again warmly congratulated Minister Suzuki on his appointment as Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan, expressing his hope that the two countries would strengthen cooperation in agriculture, forestry, and fisheries in particular, and to serve the development of both countries in general, especially in the new stage of development for both countries. On this occasion, Ambassador Pham Quang Hieu respectfully invited Minister Suzuki to visit Vietnam soon to promote bilateral cooperation in the future. Minister Suzuki happily accepted the invitation.
