Ambassador Pham Quang Hieu Meets with the Governor of Ishikawa Prefecture

On February 10, 2025, at the Embassy of Vietnam, Ambassador Pham Quang Hieu held a meeting with the Governor of Ishikawa Prefecture, Mr. Hase Hiroshi.

During the meeting, Ambassador Pham Quang Hieu expressed his admiration for the resilience and efforts of the government and people of Ishikawa Prefecture in rebuilding after the earthquake that struck the Noto Peninsula in January 2024. He also thanked the prefecture for its support of the more than 5,000 Vietnamese residents living in the area. Governor Hase expressed his gratitude to the Government and people of Vietnam, as well as to the Embassy, for their numerous support activities and fundraising efforts to help mitigate the consequences of the earthquake in the Noto Peninsula. He reaffirmed his commitment to continuing policies that create favorable conditions for the Vietnamese community in Ishikawa Prefecture.

On this occasion, Ambassador Pham Quang Hieu and Governor Hase also discussed the status of exchanges and cooperation between Ishikawa Prefecture and various localities in Vietnam, as well as future directions for collaboration.
