Ambassador Pham Quang Hieu Attends and Speaks at the Seminar on Human Resource Exchange with Ambassadors to Japan

          On July 7, 2026, a seminar on human resource exchange with ambassadors to Japan was held at the International Conference Room of the Japanese House of Councillors. Organized by the National Association for the Support of Coexistence with Foreigners (NAGOMi), the event took place under the auspices of Japanese political circles and various prestigious organizations across the economic, financial, academic, and sports sectors. The seminar aimed to facilitate dialogue among stakeholders to help draft a "Basic Law on Realizing an Orderly Coexistence Society with Foreigners," thereby establishing a foundation for welcoming foreign human resources not merely as workers, but as integral members of local Japanese communities.

          Opening the discussion session, Ambassador Pham Quang Hieu emphasized the importance of human resource cooperation between the two nations. He highlighted the contributions of Vietnamese workers to the Japanese economy and outlined the Embassy's efforts to foster a civilized, law-abiding Vietnamese community that integrates and develops alongside Japanese society. In his address, the Ambassador also proposed concrete solutions for building a sustainable society of coexistence between Japan and foreign nationals.

          Following the remarks by the ambassadors, NAGOMi Vice President Yasuhisa Shiozaki summarized the expectations and proposals directed at Japan, as well as the priority issues requiring attention in the near future.

          In his closing remarks, NAGOMi President Tsutomu Takebe emphasized the necessity of transforming Japan into a leading model of a society that fosters coexistence with foreign nationals.
