4th National Artistic Photography Contest and Exhibition: "Pride in the Borderlands"

          The Embassy of Vietnam in Japan is pleased to announce to the Vietnamese community in Japan and photography enthusiasts the 4th National Artistic Photography Contest and Exhibition titled "Pride in the Borderlands" (*Tự hào một dải biên cương*), organized under the auspices of the Central Commission for Propaganda and Education and the Central Commission for Mass Mobilization.

          This contest is a meaningful initiative aimed at raising awareness regarding national sovereignty and border security. It also seeks to showcase and promote the natural beauty, people, cultural life, and socio-economic development achievements of Vietnam's land border regions. Through the art of photography, the contest contributes to fostering love for the homeland, raising awareness about the protection of territorial sovereignty, and inspiring national pride.

           Eligibility

          *   Vietnamese citizens aged 15 and older, whether residing, studying, or working domestically or abroad.

          *   Foreign nationals residing, studying, or working in Vietnam.

           Submission Period

          From March 15, 2026, to the end of August 15, 2026.

           Attractive Prizes

          *   02 First Prizes: 20,000,000 VND each, plus a Gold Medal.

          *   04 Second Prizes: 15,000,000 VND each, plus a Silver Medal.

          *   06 Third Prizes: 10,000,000 VND each, plus a Bronze Medal.

        *  10 Consolation Prizes: 5,000,000 VND each. The Embassy encourages the Vietnamese community in Japan, photographers, photography enthusiasts, and international friends with an interest in Vietnam to actively participate in the contest. Participants are invited to submit works that capture the beauty of the nation's border regions, thereby helping to promote the image of Vietnam and its people to the world.

          Each photograph not only preserves a beautiful moment but also conveys a message of love for the homeland, national pride, and the responsibility to safeguard the nation's sacred sovereignty.
